The To Go Suitcases
Take your plush mouse everywhere you go in these fun little suitcases. Of course, you assemble and decorate the room 'to go' yourself. The suitcase comes printed with wallpaper and floor. Simply put together the furniture pieces and paint them in your favourite colours. Finish the bed with the ready-made mattress, blanket and pillow. Add mini paper accessories and mini items for the finishing touch.

About the Mouse Mansion
The Mouse Mansion is a world of its own, with over a hundred tiny rooms filled with houses, shops, streets and outdoor spaces, all mouse-sized. Each room has its own resident, with a unique story, personality and family ties. This miniature world is discovered by two mice: Sam and Julia. The everyday things they experience in the Mouse Mansion teach young readers meaningful life lessons. The Mouse Mansion is a safe haven, an inclusive world, and a story about friendship and community.

The book series now includes six richly illustrated titles of which two are translated to English: Sam and Julia and At the Theater. With each book, you’ll discover a new part of the Mouse Mansion.

About Karina Schaapman
The Mouse Mansion was handcrafted by artist Karina Schaapman (born 1960). She wanted to create a children’s book, not with drawings, but with photographs of scenes from her handmade Mouse Mansion. The story of Sam and Julia was already in her mind. What started with a few pieces of cardboard and some glue turned into a fully built world of more than a hundred tiny rooms. A world Karina would love every child to grow up in.

The original Mouse Mansion is three metres tall and two metres wide. You can admire it in person at the Mouse Mansion shop and museum on Muntplein in Amsterdam.
